Silent Mobius Movie 1 and 2

Silent Mobius movies were a bust they are 80s style versions of the story and after watching the series I just couldn't sit through them. They did nothing to further the plot of the series. They seemed more like hour long pilots for the series. With that being said I am highly upset with them and rate them a 5.

Next up Noein. I am excited to watch this one because its supposed to be a visually stunning anime series with multiple styles of animation

So I first decided I wanted to see this anime when I caught a snip a few years a go on sci-fi tv. Well it didn't live up to what I expected. The ending pissed me off. Its completely open to a second season. Its like the writers got bored and gave up right before the real climax of the story. Other than that it was a decent anime. The plot was good however the story left a little to be desired. I think either they foreshadowed too much or the the twists and turns were just too predictable. However, they did do a good job of making interesting deep characters. Hopefully the plot is finished in the movie but for now I have to rate it a 7.

I expected it to be your run of the mill Harem anime. This anime was dark and twisted and did so in just 12 episodes. It was wonderfully poetic. Its about a guy who doesn't know how to run with the girls if you catch my drift. So he gets set up by his friend and then this friend teaches how to make girls happy. Then she falls in love and he becomes a play boy. At the end it becomes horrible tragic and violent. I rate it a 9

This is the funniest thing I have seen in a while. It is about the media bubble in japan. Basically, the japan broadcasting system is failing to entertain people so they bring together this crack pot staff and an android to be the on air personality. This anime falls into the kiddie aspect. However, I enjoyed and would rate it an 8 for what it is. This anime is not super quality by any means for adults but it is funny.

This anime was truly amazing. It had some of the best fighting sequences I have seen in a while. Along with that it had a deep rich story that made me jump constantly. It had so many twists and turns I almost got dizzy. I've been wanting an anime with deep multiple layer characters for sometime. This one definitely delivered. For all but two characters you could never see where their true loyalties lied. I give this a 10.

Review:

I have to say its one of the greats and I can't believe it took me so long to get to watching it. I loved the theme and the fight sequences. However, the main ninja Jubei is kinda one sided on relying on a single technique. so because he wasn't versatile I'll have to dock him some points. The story line was great, the characters where phenomenal. They even did a good job of throwing some twists and making it hard to believe everything a character has to say. therefore I give them a 9.5. I don't usually give half points but Jubei relayed on one technique and i could only satisfy myself by docking half a point.

Review:

Quite a nice series based on the mutsu enmei ryo style of combat. It basically tells the story of three generations of mutsu. The only thing I really didn't like is that you didn't get back story on each generation because the it was a one season series. I'd have like it if they did a series on one mutsu and include the training and not just a year or so of their life where they fight japans greatest swordsman. Overall I give it a 7 out 10 do to not developing a good back story and it lost 1 point because they jipped the animation in places.

Well i just finished seirei no moribito. It was phenominal. From the descriptions I read I expected alot more martial arts action, however there was only a few martial arts scenes. These scenes were masterfully done. What it lacked in martial arts scenes it made up for in story and character depth. I give it a 9.
